This couldn’t be more evident than the friendships made at the High Wycombe home of a little boy called Xavier (Xavi to his friends and family!).
Installation is often the most exciting part of the Swift process for you. This can certainly be said for this very enthusiastic 6 year old as he eagerly watched Lee and his team arrive and unpack their tools to begin installation on his grandpa’s new living annex at the end of his garden.
Xavi, fascinated in the installation process, monitored the team’s progress, over the days, from his nearby trampoline. As usual, our team worked extremely hard and remained open and responsive to questions and concerns. In this case, most of the questions came from this intrigued little boy! It is not unusual for relationships to be built between the team and the client during the process and after all, who could resist such youthful keenness?
Whenever he had the chance, and with his parents’ blessing (Health and Safety is never overlooked), Xavi would become a Swift apprentice…. specialising in digging and moving things with Lee’s shovel.
When it was finally time for Xavi’s grandpa to move into his new home, the team packed up their kit and loaded up their tools…..all except for Lee’s trusty shovel….he just couldn’t bring himself to take Xavi’s favourite new toy away! Lee really is our ‘Ace of spades!’
